I am a global leader who has worked as an entrepreneur and CEO for 26 years in the fields of IT global banking, real estate, legal services, and two non-profit companies. I am therefore well-qualified to take our state into next-generation education, job creation, and entrepreneur support. I also support the community by working as an instructor, professor, principal of a professional business education university, and education pastor.

I have received many blessings from God and my family, and I have benefited a lot from my community, customers, and the US government. I’ve also provided many professional field services. Now I want to give back to our community. I am Dr. Sarah Sun Liew

As a small business supporter, I have undertaken various educational programs in order to further my knowledge of our economy, including MBA, DBA, and Ph.D. studies at top universities, including Harvard Business School. Additionally, I have been a CEO for over 25 years, running an IT global banking company, and have aided tens of thousands of small business owners and stores exclusively through my IT business. I understand the pain and real needs of small business owners, especially when a pandemic has closed many businesses, left business owners suffering, and employees losing their jobs. I want to help them resume their business, re-hire more people, and rebuild their business as soon as possible. I am running for them—the business owners and entrepreneurs. As CEO of both non-profit and for-profits, I have worked hard for job creation and to support entrepreneurs. Additionally, I have long advocated for free or affordable business education, legal training, and services to provide education for start-ups in order to aid job creation and education for business owners. I have been active in providing vocational training education to business owners, real estate agents, investors, and first-time homebuyers through investment education programs, as well as in providing legal, eviction, and apartment management education for landlords and tenants. I had 30 years’ experience as a pastor and an educator, I came to America at age 25 with the dream of becoming a seminary professor. Prior to coming to the United States, I spent 7 years in university and worked simultaneously as a pastor for three major churches in Seoul. I also worked as a high school English teacher, SAT instructor, and teacher at a free adult school. After coming to the United States, I served in 7 local churches and taught part-time in elementary schools. As a second-generation instructor, I recognize the value of education and its power to change lives. As your Representative, I vow to be an indefatigable supporter of education in District 33

I am Dr. Sarah Sun Liew

As the CEO of a legal services real estate investment management firm for more than 20 years, I am well aware of the need to build affordable housing while tackling the challenges of today’s housing market. I am also aware of the unique challenges of the affordable housing market, and the eviction of subscribers and landlords. Moreover, I understand the deep social problems that complicate our lives, and the practical solutions needed to remedy them. Over the course of my career, I have provided significant legal services for those in need in a variety of fields including contract law, family law, bankruptcy law, small trials, and regulation compliance. I have decided to put this experience to use by running for the House of Representatives from District 33.

As an immigration consultant, and as an immigrant myself, I am well aware of the difficulties of immigrants. After achieving the American Dream, I made it my personal charge to help other newly arrived Americans take their first steps in our great country by aiding them in their pursuit of better education and business opportunities. Providing these immigration services have been instrumental in helping me to understand the unique challenges immigrants face and was a significant factor in my decision to run for Congress from District 33.

I studied nurses for more than four years and extensive experience at the general hospital operating rooms, intensive care units, obstetrics and gynecology wards, pediatrics, and hospice. I understand many problems patients and their families are facing now, no insurance due to excessive medical premiums and solutions for stabilizing sky-high drug prices, endless wait times, and the confused, overwhelming nightmare our health care system has become.

I believe people should have access to the services they need, that they should be able to receive treatment promptly, and to know the costs of the services they are about to receive pre-treatment. I also believe the health care system should be sufficient to support our hero healthcare providers and their facilities. A vote for me is a vote for better health care in District 33.
